There’s still plenty of time, nominations for the Monaghan Volunteer Awards don’t close until Friday, 12th September 2025! The Monaghan Volunteer Awards celebrate the incredible impact volunteers have across our county. Every day, local groups and individuals give their time to make Monaghan a better place, and now is the time to recognise them.
The 2025 awards will include four categories:
- Volunteer of the Year,
- Lifetime Achievement,
- Volunteer Group of the Year
- Volunteer Team of the Year.
Anyone can nominate! Let’s give our volunteers the spotlight they truly deserve.
Why nominate a volunteer?
Recognising volunteers makes a real difference:
- Boost Motivation: A simple thank you can inspire even greater dedication.
- Increase Retention: Every nominee receives an invite to our awards and a certificate, letting them know their efforts are valued.
- Celebrate Success: Shine a light on your volunteers and highlight the achievements of your group or organisation.
🏆 All awardees will be celebrated at the Monaghan Volunteer Awards Ceremony on Sunday October 12th in the Iontas Theatre, Castleblayney, where we will honour the individuals and groups who make such a difference to life in our county.
