Changes are planned to the way the Council rolls out its community supports in 2026. To enable groups to know how much funding they have much earlier in the year, the funding application process is being pulled back into the end of 2025, so that assessments can take place in January/February and recommendations can be presented to the Council meeting in the first week of March.
What this means is that the Environment Fund, the Community Development Fund, the Festivals & Events Fund and the Arts Fund for 2026 will all open to applications in November 2025 and will close in December 2025 or early January 2026.
Please see poster relating to advice clinics being held for the Community Development Fund – phone 047 73720 to book your appointment.
PLEASE TAKE A NOTE OF THESE DEADLINES!
